Brava Dance Competitve Teams: By audition only Brava Apprentice is a training company created to slowly introduce new dancers to the competition world, while developing their technique and performance quality for the competition setting. Brava Apprentice dancers will compete one dance for our competition season at 2 local regional competitions, and must attend one convention. Apprentice Company Dancers are required to take technique classes in our Intensive track, including Ballet twice a week, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary and Tap, and be enrolled in Apprentice Company rehearsal. Petite Apprentice members (3rd grade and 2nd grade) must take Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Lyrical. Mini Session is also required. If a dancer is chosen for company, they must be signed up for at least one week of the summer intensive before accepting. Brava Core By audition only This is for individuals who are serious about training in dance at a higher, competitive level. Brava Core is our competitive team that attends 2-3 local competitions per season and one convention. Brava Core Dancers are required to take technique classes in our Intensive track, including Ballet twice a week, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary and Tap, and be enrolled in Core rehearsal. Mini Session is also required. If a dancer is chosen for Brava Core, they must be signed up for at least 2 weeks of the summer intensive inlcluding Guest week before accepting. Choreography week and Boot Camp is also required.
