Dance With Me
18 months – 2.5 years
In this dance class, our youngest students are introduced to the basics of movement. Dancers will develop gross motor and listening skills, and increase their independence and confidence through our creative lessons. The basic dance steps are introduced along with music interpretation, creative movement and balance. We use scarves, ribbons, instruments and other props to encourage movement.
This is a class designed for full participation of the adult who is accompanying the child.
Both the adult and the child are joining the class. The adult needs to wear comfortable clothes and be comfortable getting up and down of the floor, moving around the room and acting like anything from a frog to a princess .
The child needs to be 18 months at the start of the session.

Creative Movement
2.5 - 3.5 years old
In this 45 minute introductory dance class, our very young dancers will be introduced to basic ballet vocabulary, while exploring movement and music in a creative way. We will use stories, imagination games and props like scarves, shakers, ribbons and hoola hoops to encourage movement. Students will also work on classroom skills such as following directions, listening and working with others.
This class is a wonderful transition between Mommy and Me and Pre-School ballet and tap class. The dancers do not have a caregiver with them in the class, so this class is for children who will be able to participate in class on their own. The child needs to be 2.5 by October 31st.

Pre-School Tap/Ballet
ages 3-5
This is a combination tap and ballet class for children ages 3, 4 and 5. Children will be introduced to tap and ballet, begin to learn musicality and basic ballet and tap steps. Children begin to learn basic dance class rules and etiquette like taking turns, changing their shoes, lining up and how to behave in a dance class. This is a great way to introduce your child to the FUN of dance and have them work on becoming more independent. The child needs to meet the age requirement by October 31st.

Tiny Jazz
ages 4.5-5
The class will focus on proper stretching, jazz technique and jazz combination, specific to the level of the class.

Dress Code
Leotard and tights, ballet slippers, ballet skirts allowed (elastic waist band and nothing too fussy that may create a distraction for your child). Black Tap shoes.
Hair should be secured neatly off the face for all dance classes, in a bun for ballet.
